Last night I saw a report on Countdown related to the new video showing Osama bin Laden back in '98. They discussed how there had been surviellence, but that the order to take out al-Queda was never given by Clinton. you can find a story about it here...

At first I thought this would be an ugly bit of news, allowing BushCo to shift any blame to Clinton, and in some ways that might still happen. However I'm hoping that this will lead to more light being shed on BushCo turning a blind eye towards terrorism in his first 9 months of office. I would hope that this would lead to questions of why, when it's now known that Clinton had plans to attack, but didn't in November-December of 1999, why didn't BushCo ackowledge and act on that information after coming to office?
I didn't see any other diaries on the topic, but where do you all think this might lead? and where do you think this video suddenly came from?
