Last night I saw a report on Countdown related to the new video showing Osama bin Laden back in '98. They discussed how there had been surviellence, but that the order to take out al-Queda was never given by Clinton. you can find a story about it here...

Liebermans Youth Appeal

Fri Dec 19, 2003 at 11:57:41 AM PDT

after the poll yesterday that showed Lieberman enjoying a lead amoung under 30-somethings I had to figure out how he was ahead. In my self centered mind, being under 30 and a Dean supporter, I couldn't believe that odd little man was beating Howard...

Baltimore Protest

Tue Dec 02, 2003 at 04:21:16 PM PDT

I felt kinda left out when they were having those protests in London. Then today I read that the Bastard in Chief is coming to Baltimore Friday for a fundraiser. He'll be at the Hyatt in the Inner Harbor at noon, and since I work across the street there isn't a more perfect oppurtunity. I'd like to get others together and wondered if anyone had suggestions on how to organize something like that... or for you Baltimore/Washington folk

Now all I need is a good sign...

Psych Evaluation Amendment

Wed Nov 19, 2003 at 04:12:09 PM PDT

after readin that Georgie thinks David Kay did find WMD... and reading that the first pillar in his three pillar plan towards international peace & security is the strong support of international organizations, such as the UN (unless of course they don't agree with us), I have become convinced that this president is delusional, perhaps even deeply disturbed. now i'm no psychologist, but I have to believe he's exhibited symptoms of serious issues...

The Republican Test

Fri Nov 07, 2003 at 09:20:03 PM PDT

I started out trying to think of a way to convince Republicans not to vote for Bush, and ended up with what I've dubbed The Republican Test. Three, yes-no questions that determine whether you should trend republican or democrat. My rationale follows...
  1. Do you believe in the Golden Rule? i.e Do unto others as you would have done unto you.
  2. Do you believe friends improve your life?
  3. Do you believe being an American is a privilage or a right?

Stop the presses.

Thu Oct 23, 2003 at 08:11:05 AM PDT

I've gotten into the nasty habit of reading the press briefings that come out of the White House. I like to hear the lies straight from the horses mouth I guess... anyway I've noticed this week that there hasn't been any briefings... there was a gaggle on saturday... but they haven't had a press briefing since Oct 14th. WTF? There hasn't been any news in the last 10 days?
I think there should be some kind of law that requires at the very least a weekly briefing. Of course I think if you're going to make a law that requires the government to inform the public it should really require the president himself to answer briefing questions one day a week. Imagine... a president answering questions... But seriously there should be a white house briefing at least every three or four days. And if the excuse is that they're out of the country, that's weak.
